 Cheque Collection


The collection of cheques for AIB customers drawn on local banks shall be collected through the clearing room whether in Local currency (EGP) or foreign currency (USD or EUR), or in other means. Foreign Cheques drawn on external banks are also collected by AIB.

AIB provides a service of keeping post-dated cheques for its customers and submitting them for collection on their due dates.

Payment of customers’ cheques and draft cheques drawn on AIB.

The commissions, expenses, and fees are deducted according to the bank’s tariff.
