Financial Institutions Department:
The Financial Institutions Department acts as a focal point for managing and developing all aspects of AIB business relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions worldwide.
The Financial Institutions Department is engaged in facilitating interbank transactions including money market & foreign exchange, financing international trade transactions and facilitating cross border payments & transfers for AIB clients. We conduct various inter - banking activities such as funded and unfunded risk participation and syndicated / Bilateral loans for banks. Financial Institutions Department is responsible for setting the Credit Lines for banks and reviewing them annually. Furthermore, the department assists in diversifying the bank's risk exposure by increasing the number of banks AIB deals with across different regions around the world.
The department continues to strengthen the network of correspondents to better serve our clients' inter-bank business requirements locally and globally.
